Yoga is an ancient practice that unifies the body, mind and breath while moving through a variety of physical poses. Yoga has been proven to deepen self-respect, body awareness, and enhance health, success, and overall well-being.

As yoga practitioners learn how to move and breathe with control and maintain their focus, they begin to integrate the principles of flexibility, strength and balance into their practice and into their lives.

Children, Toddler, & Teen Yoga

Finding time for fitness, family fun, and a chance to relax can be a challenge. In family yoga they are all rolled into one.

We live in a world of hustle and bustle filled with pressures and responsibilities, running our children to play dates, lessons, and competitive sports practice. When our children live in a hurry-up world of busy parents, school pressures, and social commitments, we don't stop to take the time to think about how the busy pace can often times be harmful.

Yoga can help counterbalance these demands. When children learn techniques for self-health, relaxation, and a way to connect with themselves and others, they can navigate life's challenges with a little more ease. Yoga encourages a healthy self-esteem and body awareness that will positively impact all aspects of their emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. Give your child the gift of yoga.

Yoga For Anxiety

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is an opportunity to release physical & mental stress in the comfort of supported yoga postures. A variety of props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters and straps are used as support to invite the body into a deep state of relaxation and renewal to be supported as it opens itself to a deep level of stretching, relaxation, and renewal. This class is appropriate for all levels and can be very beneficial for those looking to bring their bodies, minds and lives back into balance.

Restorative Yoga

Yin yoga is based on the Taoist concept of yin and yang, opposite and complementary principles in nature.

Join us for a quiet contemplative practice that works our body deeply with passive, longer-held poses. Living in a fast-paced world and so often on the go, we need opportunities to slow down, be still and get present. Yin is a slow, soothing, and meditative yoga practice that focuses on the deep connective tissues, bones, joints, fascia, and ligaments in the body. The main difference between Yin and Restorative is that a Restorative practice encourages the practitioner to be 100% comfortable whereas in a Yin class finding one's edge. Getting comfortable with discomfort is welcome.

Talk To Me Yoga

A unique and integrative approach to promoting physical and emotional well being. Through a combination of ancient yoga techniques, elements of body-mind education, and traditional talk therapy, talk to me yoga weaves eastern and western philosophies to encourage self-awareness and a deeper connection to yourself and others for an enhanced quality of life. You will be guided and supported in connecting with and exploring the core principles of healthy relationships, self-esteem, and positive sexuality.

The class will incorporate a series of physical postures or asanas, meditation and breathing exercises. Changing the physical state of the body creates space for the stories of the past to surface so that we can begin working through them in the present. The class will also include discussion on various topics as well as anything that arises during class so that we can further encourage healing and take a step closer to our truest self.
