Service Description
Reiki is a universal healing energy that brings the body, physically and energetically, back into balance enhancing our own natural way of healing. The ability to heal is as natural as the ability to breathe. It’s a gift that we as people have disconnected from. Reiki can restore us to our sense of oneness with all that exists in the world and to connect with the knowledge that all life is created from and nurtured by the same source. In Reiki, this source is Universal Healing Energy. In Japanese “Rei,” means universal, and “ki,” means life-force energy.Ki, (also know as Chi in Chinese and Prana in Sanskrit), means the nonphysical energy which creates and maintains balance in the body and mind. Reiki helps to release blockages of energy, aiding in the healing of past emotional pain. The receiver is not actually healed by the practitioner, but by the universal life energy itself and its balancing effects. Since energy is a natural life force energy, it can not harm anyone and is gentle yet powerful. By simply placing the hands on or above various positions on the head and body, for several minutes each, the energy flows through the body restoring it to health.
Cancellation Policy
By booking a service with Sea Change Holistic Wellness Center, you agree to the following: Liability Waiver I acknowledge that participating in yoga and wellness services involves inherent risks of physical injury or other damages, including but not limited to muscular injuries, broken bones, or complications from pre-existing medical conditions. I agree that I voluntarily participate in these services with knowledge of the risks involved, and I agree to accept any and all risks of harm. I hereby waive, release, and discharge Sea Change Holistic Wellness Center, its instructors, practitioners, employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, damages, rights of action, or causes of action, present or future, arising out of or connected with my participation in any services or activities without limitation, which may occur as a result of following advice offered by Sea Change Holistic Wellness Center. Health Acknowledgment I affirm that I am in good physical condition to participate in wellness and yoga services and will notify Sea Change Holistic Wellness Center of any medical conditions or concerns prior to participation. I understand that Sea Change Holistic Wellness Center is not a medical facility and its instructors are not medically trained to assess my physical condition. Cancellation Policy I understand that appointments and services booked require planning and resources on behalf of Sea Change Holistic Wellness Center. I agree that in the event of a cancellation less than 2 hours before the scheduled start time, I will be charged in full for the service. This charge compensates the center for the time set aside for me and for the resources allocated. Consent By booking a service with Sea Change Holistic Wellness Center, I signify my agreement to this waiver and release. I acknowledge that I have carefully read this waiver and understand its contents; I am aware this is a release of liability and a contract between myself and Sea Change Holistic Wellness Center.
